The Coolest Mailbox Ever!
Our friend and neighbor, Bonnie Callerweart painted our mailbox complete with the laughing fox under the coop. We love it!!
Maestro the Morgan and Derby Pie the TB
The second photo is Maestro the Morgan. I bought him last November to hunt. He is a great guy, but very, very strong, so we have been experimenting with bits. I think we have found the right combination in an elevator with a Waterford bit and a figure eight noseband. Lily Wray-Davis hunted him for me the last three hunts and thinks this will work. In the meantime I am taking lessons on him, have started working out at the Y and riding him as much as I can. Hopefully by the summer is over, we will have it all under control.
The first photo is Derby Pie, a retired show TB He was given to me from Starr Kramer in Lexington, KY. He is now Maestro's companion. They are hilarious together, like two old men, sometimes having fun, sometimes being grumpy at each other. They are a lot of fun to watch.
